The new iPhone 4 design does look cool, doesn’t it? Apple did a great job! But have they shot themselves in the foot, by creating this “better” glass? The glass is supposed to be “better” & more “resistible” to damage than the previous iPhone’s. Warranty specialists SquareTrade says its been tracking iPhone 4 accidents & has discovered the reported accident rate for the iPhone 4 is 68-percent higher than for the iPhone 3GS.
Several of the iPhone 4 users have reported 82-percent more damage with the iPhone 4 Glass in the first 4 months, than with the iPhone 3GS. Many of the users describe the glass with, “It doesn’t seem any less likely to break than previous models.”
Does Apple know about these problems? Are they going to do anything about it? Tell us in the comments.
